WestBridge Capital buys 70% stake in fruits & veg retailer KPN at Rs.800-Cr valuation: report
Private Equity firm WestBridge Capital has picked up a 70% stake for INR 550-600 crore in Chennai-headquartered fruits and vegetable retail chain KPN Farm Fresh at an enterprise valuation of INR 800 crore. The remaining 30% will stay with the promoters. Senthil Natarajan, the current Managing Director, will continue to run the operations. Kovai Pazhamudir Nilayam (KPN) is one of Tamil Nadu's most ubiquitous fruit and vegetable retail chains. The latest revenues of the profitable company is reportedly INR 400 crore.
