WestBridge joins $110-M round for US-based AI infra builder startup Nexthop AI
WestBridge Capital has invested as part of the USD 110 million round raised by Nexthop AI , a Santa Clara CA (USA)- and Bengaluru-based startup building artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure for cloud companies. The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners (USA) with participation from other US-based investors including Kleiner Perkins, Battery Ventures and Emergent Ventures.Founded by its CEO Anshul Sadana, Nexthop AI specialises in building custom networking solutions for the hyperscalers, which integrate into their cloud stack. The new funding will be used to accelerate the development of Nexthop AI's networking solutions for cloud and hyperscale AI clusters.
