WestBridge leads $40-M round for US-based edtech platform Yoodli

Seattle, WA (USA)-based Yoodli has raised USD 40 million in a Series B round led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from existing US-based investors Neotribe and Madrona. This marks the company's second funding this year, following a USD 13.7 million Series A round in May, led by Neotribe.Founded by Varun Puri and Esha Joshi, Yoodli is an experiential learning platform and AI communication coaching platform that uses an artificial intelligence bot to devise real-world scenarios for people to train with and provides feedback to improve communication skills.The company plans to use the fresh funds mainly to bolster its AI coaching, analytics, and personalisation capabilities. It will also expand its product, artificial intelligence (AI) research, and customer success teams to facilitate expansion into the enterprise market. The firm’s current clients include Google, Databricks, Snowflake, Sandler Sales, and RingCentral.
