WestBridge sells Aptus Value Housing Finance shares worth over Rs.1,000-Cr

WestBridge Capital has sold shares of publicly listed Aptus Value Housing Finance India, via bulk deals on May 21, realising INR 1,027.94 crore.Westbridge Crossover Fund LLC sold 24,773,019 equity shares (4.57% stake) at INR 294.15 per share aggregating to INR 728.7 crore. WestBridge, via another of its units JIH II LLC, sold 10,153,093 equity shares (1.88% stake) at INR 294.73 per share, aggregating to INR 299.24 crore.

WestBridge had invested in Aptus first in Nov-14 and continued to invest until Sep-19. It made a part exit as part of the company's IPO in Aug-21.
