Wind turbine O&M firm GreenTech attracts Rs.30-Cr from Transition VC
GreenTech , a Coimbatore-based wind turbine operations & maintenance company, has raised INR 30 crore in a funding round led by Transition VC.GreenTech will deploy the funds towards infrastructure development, including the under-construction turbine repair facility in Coimbatore. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to build inventory for newer turbine models and enter international markets.The company currently manages turbines with a combined capacity of about 500 MW and expects to add another 200 MWs to its portfolio over the next 18 months predominantly through expansion in international markets, including Southeast Asia, the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region and Europe.
