Wipro Consumer Care Ventures to make indirect investments via VC funds
Wipro Consumer Care Ventures has decided to invest in other venture capital funds, alongside direct investments in India and Southeast Asia. The firm, which has previously backed companies including Anveshan, Baker’s Dozen, and Let’s Try, is also increasing its investment cheque size to a range of INR 10-30 crore, compared to its previous range of INR 12-14 crore. The firm intends to participate in pre-Series A, Series A, and Series B funding rounds.The fund focuses on personal care, home care, wellness, and nutraceuticals sectors and is now expanding its scope to include pet care, appliances, and packaged foods.
