Women’s fashion startup Newme to raise $12-M from Accel, Fireside, Point72 Ventures

Bengaluru-based Newme is to raise USD 12 million (about INR 107.3 crore) in its Series B funding round. Existing investors Accel India and Fireside Ventures will participate, alongside new investor Point72 Ventures, a New York-based investment firm.Founded in 2022 by Sumit Jasoria, Vinod Naik, Shivam Tripathi, and Himanshu Chaudhary, Newme operates as a women-focused fashion brand, catering to Gen Z consumers. The company claims to release over 500 new designs weekly and features more than 12,000 styles on its platform.

Between Sep 2023 and Mar 2025, Newme had attracted about USD 28 M from InnoVen Capital, Stride Ventures, 2AM Ventures, Accel India, All In Capital, AUM Ventures, Fireside Ventures, InnoVen Capital, Stride Ventures and others.
