Women’s fertility monitor maker Inito raises $29-M led by Bertelsmann
Bengaluru-based Inito , a startup offering at-home diagnostics for women, has raised USD 29 million in Series B funding, led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing investor Fireside Ventures. This round brings Inito’s total equity capital to USD 45 million.Founded in 2015 by Aayush Rai and Varun AV, Inito builds tools for women to manage their health at home. The firm’s flagship product is a fertility monitor that claims to measure four key fertility hormones - FSH, Estrogen, LH, and PdG - and feeds results into AI models for pattern and ovulation tracking.The new funds will be used to broaden its hormone-testing platform beyond fertility, advance into clinical-grade tests built with synthetic, AI-engineered antibodies, accelerate diagnostic test design in silico, reduce reliance on animal-based antibody development, and speed up product cycles. The company also aims to expand into areas such as testosterone, thyroid function, vitamins, and metabolic health.
Between May 2018 and Sep 2023, Inito had attracted about USD 7 M from QRG, Fireside Ventures and others.For FY25, Inito had reported about INR 68 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2 Cr in PAT.
