Women’s hygiene brand Pee Safe attracts $32-M from OrbiMed

Gurugram-based women’s hygiene and wellness brand Pee Safe has closed a USD 32 million round from global healthcare-focused private equity firm OrbiMed. The funding round was a mix of primary capital and secondary sale by early investors.Launched in 2013 by Vikas Bagaria and his wife, Srijana Bagaria, Pee Safe has evolved into a personal hygiene and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand. The company’s portfolio includes products across toilet hygiene, feminine and intimate hygiene, personal care, grooming, and wellness. It has a presence in over 50,000 offline retail outlets in more than 100 cities and exports to 23 countries.The company plans to deploy the new capital to scale its offline retail presence, strengthen marketing efforts, and deepen its reach across quick commerce platforms and marketplaces.

Between Oct 2019 and Mar 2023, PeeSafe had attracted about USD 11 M from Alkemi Venture Partners, Rainmatter Capital and others.For FY25, PeeSafe had reported about INR 82 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4 Cr in Net Loss.
