Women’s hygiene products seller Nua in talks with Peak XV, others to raise $25-M
Bengaluru-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) femtech brand Nua is in talks to raise between USD 20-25 million in its Series C funding round. The potential transaction is expected to be led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from existing investors including Mirabilis Investment Trust and Kae Capital.Founded in 2017 by Ravi Ramachandran and Abhishek Ramanathan, Nua provides a range of women’s health and hygiene products. Its offerings include sanitary pads, intimate washes, period-care nutrition, and cramp comfort solutions. The company distributes its products through its website as well as through various e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms. It claims a customer base of over 1.5 million.
Between Mar 2018 and Jan 2025, Nua had attracted about $ 16 M from Kae Capital, Lightbox, Mirabilis Investment Trust and others.For FY25, Nua had reported about INR 96 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 7 Cr in Net Loss.
