Women-focused mobility platform Fery Rides bags Rs.2-Cr from IAN
FeryRides , a women-led mobility platform, has raised INR 2.075 crore from the Indian Angel Network (IAN). The round was led by investors Hari Balasubramanian, Uday Chatterjee, and Sri Prakash.Founded by Ajay Kumar, Vindhya Mehrotra, and Himanshu Chaubey, Fery Rides aims to ensure safe and reliable mobility for women. The platform offers rides operated by trained and verified women drivers, offering real-time tracking, SOS alerts, and WhatsApp-enabled support.The capital will be used to strengthen technology, scale operations beyond NCR, and onboard more women drivers referred to on the platform as Sister Partners.Since its launch in April 2023, Fery has claimed to have completed over 65,000 eco-friendly rides, empowered 250+ women drivers, and crossed 50,000 app downloads. The startup plans to expand across Delhi NCR and other major Indian cities.
