Women’s ethnic wear seller Aramya raises Rs.19-Cr from Z47, Accel

D2C (direct-to-consumer) e-commerce platform DSLR Technologies (Aramya) has raised INR 18.96 crore (around USD 2.24 million) in a pre-Series A round from existing investors Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India) and Accel India. DSLR Technologies would issue 8,530 pre-Series A cumulative preference shares at INR 22,224 to raise INR 18.96 crore (USD 2.24 million). Z47 and Accel will hold a 14.78% stake in the company.The fresh proceeds will be used for the purpose of capital expenditure and marketing.Founded by Ankush Goyal, DSLR Technologies sells women’s ethnic wear under the brand Aramya. The brand combines traditional hand-printed designs like block prints, bandhani, and ajrakh with premium fabrics such as pure cotton and linen cotton.
