Worker accommodations startup HerSpace raises $40-M from Gray Matters Capital
Bengaluru-based HerSpace , which builds employee accommodation for industrial workers, has raised USD 40 million from Gray Matters Capital. The investment will be deployed over 30 months through a mix of debt, quasi-equity, and equity.Founded in 2021 by Bob Pattillo (also the founder of Gray Matters Capital), HerSpace provides leased worker housing as an alternative to paying guest accommodations, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance. The startup plans to use the new capital to expand its presence across the Greater Bengaluru region, Hosur, Chennai, and Andhra Pradesh, while also supporting other growth initiatives.
