Workflow automation platform Automate.io acqui-hired by US-based Notion
San Francisco, CA (USA)-based Notion Labs Inc. has acquired Hyderabad-based workflow automation platform Automate.io. The target company will continue to operate independently and integrate Notion into its existing suite of 200+ software and apps for business use-cases. It will be added to Notion's API platform that enables developers to build on top of Notion. Since its founding in 2016, Automate.io has helped 40,000+ businesses worldwide automate repetitive tasks. Notion is further absorbing Automate.io's entire team with founder Ashok Gudibandla leading the team in India. With Automate.io's acquisition, Notion now has operations in Dublin, Tokyo, New York, San Francisco, and Hyderabad.
