Xovian Aerospace raises $2.5 M co-led by Piper Serica, Turbostar
Bengaluru-based Xovian Aerospace has raised USD 2.5 million (INR 22 crore) in its pre-seed funding round co-led by Piper Serica and Turbostar. The round also saw participation from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Eaglewings Ventures.The fresh funds will be used to expand the firm’s engineering team and launch its multi-band radio frequency (RF) payload aboard Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) launch vehicle. It also plans to develop and deploy its own nanosatellite.Founded in 2019 by Ankit Bhateja and Raghav Sharma, Xovian is building an AI-powered “RF intelligence infrastructure” which will convert RF data into real-time insights. It has received a grant of USD 300,000 till date.
