Yu Foods raises $6.5 M led by Ashish Kacholia, Asian Paints promoters
Delhi NCR-based instant packaged food startup Yu Foods has raised INR 55 Crore (USD 6.5 million) in its Series B round led by investor Ashish Kacholia and members of the promoter group of Asian Paints. The round saw the exit of some of the company’s early investors (with 4x returns). The new funds will be used to strengthen its distribution network and expand product portfolio.Founded in 2021 by Bharat Bhalla and Varun Kapur, Yu offers 25 instant food products including breakfast, lunch and dinner meal bowls. The startup’s products are also available in Africa.
In Sep-23, Yu Foods had raised about USD 2.4 M from Ashish Kacholia and others.
