Zomato acquires 16.6% stake in food robotics co Mukunda for $5-M
New Delhi-based, publicly listed Zomato has acquired a 16.66% stake in Bengaluru-based Mukunda Foods, which sells dosa-maker machines under the Dosamatic brand, for USD 5 million. Zomato has subscribed to 13,289 Series Bl compulsorily convertible preference shares and 10 equity shares of Mukunda on a fully diluted basis. Mukunda is a food robotics company that designs and manufactures small robotic equipment to automate food preparation for restaurants. For FY21, it posted a turnover of INR 3.25 crore.
