Zydus Wellness to acquire protein bars maker Naturell for Rs.390-Cr
Ahmedabad-headquartered Zydus Wellness is to acquire Mumbai-based Naturell , the maker of protein bars and snacks for INR 390 crore in an all cash deal. Zydus will pay INR 369 crore upfront and additional INR 21 crore when targets are met.Naturell, which started its operations in 2003, entered into the healthy snacks segment in 2007 and had annual revenues of INR 129 crore in FY24. It sells snacking bars, protein bars and herbal bars under the brand RiteBite.
Between April 2018 and Feb 2020, Naturell had raised about USD 8. 8 M from Rabo Equity
