Adani Power to raise Rs.15,000-Cr via QIP
Ahmedabad-based Adani Power plans to raise INR 15,000-Cr through a qualified institutional placement (QIP). The proposed fundraising is intended to provide capital for the company's ongoing expansion projects.Adani Power is a thermal power generator currently engaged in a capital expenditure programme aimed at expanding its generation capacity to 45 GW.The firm would also up its borrowing limit from INR 75,000-Cr to INR 1-Trillion to support expansion.
Between Oct 2007 and Jun 2009, Adani Power had attracted about $ 244 M from 3i IIF.For FY25, Adani Power had reported about INR 56,204 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 12,750 Cr in PAT.
