Affordable housing player Aptus' IPO subscribed 10.41 times
The IPO of Chennai-based Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd was subscribed 10.41 times, garnering bids for 57.38 crore equity shares against the issue size of 5.51 crore equity shares, on August 12, the last day of bidding. The portion reserved for qualified institutional buyers witnessed 20.61 times subscription and that of non-institutional investors, 18.48 times. Retail investors put in bids for 1.12 times of the portion set aside for them. Aptus primarily serves low-and-middle income self-employed customers in rural and semi urban markets. Its INR 2,780.05-crore public offer for subscription was launched on August 10, at a price band of INR 346-353 per equity share. The firm had mobilised INR 834 crore from anchor investors.
