Autocomp firm Tenneco Clean Air India’s Rs.3,600-Cr IPO oversubscribed 2.9x

Automotive components manufacturer and exporter Tenneco Clean Air India’s INR 3,600-crore initial public offering (IPO), a 100% offer-for-sale (OFS) of 9.07 crore equity shares at INR 378-397 per share, was oversubscribed by 2.93 times. Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) subscribed 1.44 times, Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) 7.18 times, and Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) 2.34 times.Tenneco specialises in clean air, powertrain, and suspension systems for both domestic and global markets. Its client base comprises OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, and Ashok Leyland.Tenneco operates 12 automated manufacturing plants in India, with over 80% capacity utilisation, and supports its operations with two Indian R&D centers integrated with Tenneco’s global facilities.In FY 2025, the company reported revenue of INR 4,890 crore, an EBITDA margin of 16.7%, profit after tax (PAT) of INR 553 crore, and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of nearly 57%.
