Autocomp player Craftsman Automation raises Rs.2,000-Cr through QIP
Coimbatore-based Craftsman Automation has raised INR 2,000 crore in a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) round. The transaction saw the allotment of 22.99 lakh equity shares to domestic mutual funds and insurance companies.Founded in 1986, Craftsman Automation makes aluminium casting products and powertrain components for the automotive and industrial engineering sectors.
Between May 2010 and May 2026, Craftsman Automation had attracted about $ 106 M from Affirma Capital, IFC and PremjiInvest.For FY25, Craftsman Automation had reported about INR 3,848 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 94 Cr in PAT.
