Buffalo meat exporter HMA Agro attracts Rs.144-Cr from anchor investors

Agra-headquartered HMA Agro Industries has attracted INR 144 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering (IPO). The company, which exports frozen buffalo meat products, has allocated 24.61 lakh shares to anchor investors, at INR 585 per share, the upper price band. Investors who participated in the anchor book included Craft Emerging Market Fund PCC, Minerva Ventures Fund, Forbes EMF, Coeus Capital Opportunities Fund, Radiant Global Fund and Absolute Returns Scheme. Among them, Craft Emerging Market Fund PCC wrote the largest cheque, investing INR 70 crore via Citadel Capital Fund, and Elite Capital Fund. The company plans to raise INR 480 crore through the IPO comprising a fresh issue of INR 150 crore and an offer for sale of INR 330 crore by promoters.
