Building materials marketplace Infra.Market acquires tiles seller Metro Group
Thane-headquartered, IPO-bound building materials unicorn Infra.Market has picked up a majority stake in Morbi, Gujarat-based Metro Group , a ceramic tiles manufacturing company, in a share swap deal worth INR 200 crore.Metro Group is one of the largest manufacturers of floor tiles (vitrified /ceramic tiles) in India. It has an annual aggregate capacity of approx.14 mn. sq. meters, distributed across four plants - Metropole Tiles Pvt. Ltd., Metrocity Tiles Pvt. Ltd., Metroworld Tiles Pvt. Ltd. & Metro Ceramics.
