Data centre operator ESDS ups IPO size to Rs.720-Cr

Nashik-based ESDS Software Solutions is planning an initial public offering (IPO) in the coming weeks, aiming to become the first listed data centre owner and operator in India. The company has upped the size of its fresh issue to INR 720 crore from an initial target of INR 600 crore.Founded in 2005 by CEO Piyush Somani, the company operates a network of Tier III-certified sovereign data centres across locations including Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Mohali. It provides IT infrastructure services, including cloud computing, co-location data centre infrastructure, software-as-a-service, and managed services. The firm intends to use the proceeds from the fresh issue to purchase and install cloud computing equipment and infrastructure, as well as for working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.The company previously filed preliminary IPO papers in March 2025 and received clearance in December 2025.

Between Feb 2015 and Feb 2025, ESDS Software had attracted about $ 44 M from Canbank Ventures, Global Environment Fund, Amrut, Anchorage Capital Partners, Ashish Kacholia, Capri Global Holdings and others.For FY25, ESDS Software had reported about INR 357 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 61 Cr in PAT.
