Defence-focused drones maker Sagar explores Rs.3,000-Cr IPO
Mumbai-based Sagar Defence Engineering is evaluating a public listing, with plans to raise between Rs.2,000-Cr and Rs.3,000-Cr through an initial public offering (IPO). The company has appointed DAM Capital Advisors to act as the book-running lead manager for the transaction. The proposed offering is expected to comprise a mix of a fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS).Sagar designs, develops, and manufactures autonomous and unmanned systems for maritime, aerial, and underwater applications. Its product lineup includes unmanned marine surface vehicles, maritime spotter drones, and personal aerial vehicles
Between Sep 2019 and Mar 2026, Sagar Defence Engineering had attracted about $ 49 M from Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund, ONGC Start-Up and Skegen.For FY25, Sagar Defence Engineering had reported about INR 104 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 33 Cr in PAT.
