Food delivery unicorn Zomato raises $560-M from anchor Investors: report

Food delivery platform Zomato has raised USD 560 million, almost half its IPO issue size, from institutional investors at the upper end of the price band of INR 76 a share. Over 100 end-investors will be allotted shares as part of the anchor book for its IPO. Top foreign investors in the Unicorn's anchor book include Baillie Gifford, BlackRock, Capital Research, CPPIB, GIC, T Rowe Price. Domestic investors include mutual funds and insurance companies like Axis MF, HDFC MF, Birla MF, Nippon, HDFC Life, ICICI Pru Life. Zomato is looking at an INR 64,365 crore (USD 8.7 billion) post money valuation. Its IPO issuance is worth INR 9,375 crore at a price band of INR 72-76.
