General Atlantic-backed KFin Tech files for Rs 2,400-Cr IPO

Hyderabad-based KFin Technologies, which is one of the leading registrars & transfer agents, has filed its draft red herring prospectus to raise INR 2,400 crore via an initial public offering. The IPO is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of up to INR 2,400 crore worth of equity shares by private equity investor General Atlantic Singapore Fund Pte. Ltd. KFin Technologies is majority owned by funds managed by General Atlantic, which holds a stake of 74.94 per cent. Kotak Mahindra Bank acquired a 9.98 per cent stake in KFin Technologies in 2021.
