Geospatial & engg services provider Ceinsys raises Rs.235-Cr through pref shares

Mumbai-based Ceinsys Tech has raised INR 235 crore (USD 28 million) through a preferential allotment and share warrants. US-based Rare Capital has put in about INR 125 crore (USD 15 million) as part of this preferential allotment. The new funds will be used to fund acquisitions and expand footprint overseas.Set up in 1998, Ceinsys claims to leverage technology and analytics to deliver solutions in the geospatial and engineering domains through smarter urban planning, connectivity, water management, energy efficiency and e-governance.
