Gold loans provider Continental Securities to raise capital

Jaipur-based, publicly listed Continental Securities , a non-banking financial company (NBFC) plans to raise fresh capital through the issuance of equity shares or securities convertible into equity.Founded in 1990 by Rajesh Khuteta, Continental Securities offers gold loans as a secured financing product, alongside MSME (micro, small and medium enterprise) and mortgage lending services. The firm also has a mutual fund distribution platform, known as Smart Invest, which allows customers to manage portfolios and access selected fund schemes.The firm intends to use the capital to expand its gold loan and mutual fund distribution businesses, which includes opening additional branches across Jaipur.Earlier this year, the company raised INR 189 crore through preferential issues conducted between January and February 2026 to support its lending operations and long-term capital requirements.
