Gujarat Kidney and Super Specialty’s Rs.251-Cr IPO subscribed over 5 times
Vadodara-based Gujarat Kidney and Super Specialty 's INR 251 crore initial public offering, a complete fresh issue with a price band of INR 108-114 per equity share, was subscribed 5.13 times. Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) subscribed 18.61 times their allocated 22 lakh shares, Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) subscribed 5.71 times their 33 lakh shares, and Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) subscribed 1.06 times their 33 lakh shares.Gujarat Kidney and Super Specialty operates a network of seven multi-speciality hospitals and four pharmacies across central Gujarat, specializing in renal sciences and super-speciality medical care. The company has a total capacity of 490 beds, with 340 currently operational. As of June 2025, its workforce included 89 doctors, over 330 nursing professionals, and more than 300 support staff.The proceeds from the IPO are designated for expansion and inorganic growth, which includes acquiring Parekhs Hospital in Ahmedabad, increasing its stake in Harmony Medicare in Bharuch, establishing a new hospital in Vadodara, purchasing advanced medical and robotic equipment, reducing debt, and general corporate purposes.The company reported a total income of INR 40.4 crore in FY25 up from INR 5.48 crore in FY24, and profit after tax rose to INR 9.5 crore (up from INR 1.71 crore).
