Hospital chain Park Medi World’s Rs.920-Cr IPO gets 4.26x subscription

The INR 920 crore initial public offering (IPO) of Delhi-based hospital chain operator Park Medi World was subscribed 4.26 times on the third day of bidding. The retail portion was subscribed 2.54 times, while the non-institutional investor (NII) segment was booked 8.56 times, and the qualified institutional buyer (QIB) portion, 4.05 times.The offer comprised a fresh issue of 4.75 crore shares valued at INR 770 crore and an offer for sale of 0.93 crore shares totalling INR 150 crore. The IPO's price band was set at INR 154–162 per share. Earlier, the company mobilised INR 276 crore through its anchor book.Founded in 2011, Park Medi World operates 14 multi-super specialty hospitals under the ‘Park’ brand. Out of the proceeds, INR 380 crore will be spent for repayment of borrowings, INR 60.50 crore for setting up a new hospital and expanding existing facilities, and INR 27.46 crore for acquiring medical equipment. The rest will be used for acquisitions.The company recorded a profit of INR 213 crore in FY25 and revenue of INR 1,426 crore in FY25.
