Indian Bank to divest 17.91% stake in NSE via IPO

Public sector lender Indian Bank plans to divest its 17.91% stake in the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) through an offer-for-sale (OFS) as part of the exchange’s proposed IPO. The bank has executed a consent letter for the transaction on September 9, 2026. The disposal of the 1.5 million equity shares is expected to be completed by the end of September 2026.In FY 2026, the bank received a dividend of INR 29.31 crore from its shareholding in the NSE.
