JSW Infra launches QIP and OFS to raise Rs.7,503-Cr
Mumbai-headquartered JSW Infrastructure has launched a qualified institutional placement (QIP) alongside a concurrent offer for sale by its promoter, the Sajjan Jindal Family Trust, to raise Rs.7,503-Cr. The transaction, managed by SBI Capital Markets, JM Financial, Avendus Capital, Citigroup Global Markets India, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India), and Jefferies India, involves the issuance of 263.25 million shares. The fresh issue component under the QIP seeks to raise Rs.6,555-Cr, while the offer for sale by the promoter aims to raise Rs.948-Cr.The company operates three ports, eight terminals across India, and a liquid storage terminal in the UAE. It plans to use the funds from the fresh issue to finance capital expenditure requirements through investments in subsidiary companies, prepay or repay outstanding borrowings, and fund strategic investments and acquisitions.The offering has been set at an indicative price of Rs.285 per equity share.
In Dec 2010, JSW Infrastructure had attracted about $ 125 M from Eton Park.For FY25, JSW Infrastructure had reported about INR 520 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 391 Cr in PAT.
