Madhusudan Kela-backed Anantroop picks stake in transformer bushings maker Yash Highvoltage
Anantroop Financial Advisory Services, a firm backed by investor Madhusudan Kela, has acquired nearly 14,000 shares in Vadodara-based, publicly listed Yash Highvoltage . The transaction was valued at INR 1 crore. Additionally, institutional investors, including Value Quest India GIFT Fund, WhiteOak Capital India Opportunities Fund, and Motilal Oswal, acquired stakes in the company as part of a broader fundraising effort.Yash Highvoltage is a manufacturer of transformer bushings for the power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors. The firm plans to use the proceeds to expand its manufacturing and testing infrastructure, specifically enhancing its resin-impregnated paper (RIP) bushing manufacturing capacity from 245 kV to 550 kV.The investment will also support the development of advanced assembly and testing facilities and a brownfield expansion of the company’s existing oil-impregnated paper (OIP) bushing manufacturing plant.
