The IPO of Hyderabad-based Sigachi Industries attracted bids for 54,89,25,840 equity shares, or 71.3 times the total issue size of 53,86,500 equity shares. Incorporated in 1989, Sigachi Industries manufactures Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC), which is used as an excipient in various industries including Pharmaceutical, Food & Nutraceutical, Cosmetic and Chemicals.
