Promoters pare 10% stake in diagnostic chain Thyrocare in Rs.986-Cr block deal

Docon Technologies, a promoter of the Mumbai-based healthcare diagnostic firm Thyrocare Technologies , sold a 9.9% stake for INR 986 crore. Following the transaction, Docon’s holding declined from 60.92% to 51.02%. It continues to remain the promoter and holding company of Thyrocare.Established in 1996, Thyrocare operates diagnostic laboratories providing preventive healthcare and diagnostic testing services. The company offers a range of routine and specialised diagnostic tests through its laboratory and collection network.
In June-21, Docon Technologies Pvt Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of API Holdings - the parent company of pharma e-tail service PharmEasy - had acquired a 66.14% stake in Thyrocare Technologies from its founder A Velumani for INR 4,546 crore.For FY26, Thyrocare Technologies had reported about INR 774 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 149 Cr in PAT.
