RIL sells 3.64% stake worth $901-M in Asian Paints

Reliance Industries, through its affiliate Siddhant Commercials Pvt Ltd, has divested a 3.64% stake (3.50 crore shares) in Asian Paints, through an open market transaction. The shares were disposed of at an average price of INR 2,201 a piece.After the stake sale, Siddhant Commercials' shareholding in Asian Paints dipped to 1.26% from 4.90%.
