SEBI bars Zee Entertainment from issuing warrants to promoters

While Zee Entertainment Enterprises has shareholder majority to proceed with the preferential issuance of convertible warrants to Sunbright Mauritius Investments, part of its promoter group, SEBI has barred the same.Established in 1991 by Subhash Chandra, the company operates television broadcasting, digital streaming, film production, and content businesses through brands including Zee TV, Zee5, Zee Studios, and Zee Music.
