Sembcorp Green Infra plans $500-M IPO
Singapore-based Sembcorp Industries Ltd is preparing to file for an initial public offering (IPO) of its Indian renewable energy unit, Gurugram-based Sembcorp Green Infra Ltd . The proposed share sale is expected to raise as much as USD 500 million. Sembcorp is working with Axis Capital, HSBC Holdings, Citigroup, Kotak Mahindra Capital, ICICI Securities, and IIFL Capital Services on the transaction.Founded in 2008, Sembcorp Green Infra, backed by Temasek Holdings, is one of the ten largest renewable independent power producers in India by operational capacity. As of March 31, 2026, the company managed more than 75 renewable energy assets across 18 states, totalling 7.6 GW of gross capacity either installed or under development.
For FY25, Sembcorp Energy had reported about INR 78 crore in Operating Income and about INR 1.27 crore in PAT.
