Sportswear-focused apparel store chain Gaurik Fashions files papers for IPO

New Delhi-based fashion and lifestyle retailer Gaurik Fashions has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to raise funds through an initial public offering. The proposed transaction includes a fresh issue of 62 lakh equity shares and an offer for sale of 8 lakh shares by the existing investor, Aries Opportunities Fund. Credora Partners and Unistone Capital are serving as the book-running lead managers.Founded in 2016 as a franchise-based business, the company specializes in apparel and sportswear and is associated with global brands including Skechers, Guess, and Bugatti. As of March 2026, the company managed 59 stores across 14 states and union territories in India.The company plans to use the proceeds from the fresh issue to expand its retail footprint by launching new stores for Skechers. Furthermore, funds will be invested in its wholly owned subsidiary, Gaurik Lifestyle, for opening new Guess outlets and in its subsidiary, Nuvora Retail, for the expansion of Bugatti stores and initial inventory requirements. A portion of the proceeds is also allocated for debt repayment.
