Standard Life sells 4.99% stake in HDFC Life Insurance

UK-based Standard Life has sold 10.08 crore shares, amounting to a 4.99% stake, in publicly listed HDFC Life Insurance (in which Standard Life was a founding JV partner). The sale took place on June 29, following which Standard Life holds 7.86 crore shares (3.89% stake) in HDFC Life.
