TD Power Systems promoters sell shares worth Rs.456-Cr

The promoters of Bangalore-based TD Power Systems have sold shares worth INR 456.3 crore through bulk deals on the BSE. The promoters - Nikhil Kumar, Saphire Finman Services LLP and Hitoshi Matsuo - sold a total of 99 lakh shares at about INR 460 apiece. Goldman Sachs managed funds were among the buyers in the deal.As of March 31, Nikhil Kumar owned a 11.2% stake in the company while Saphire Finman Services LLP and Hitoshi Matsuo held 15.3% and 6.4%, respectively.Founded in 2001, TD Power Systems is an AC generator and motor manufacturer offering end-to-end and custom solutions to its clients. The company caters to various industries like renewables, co-generation, hydroelectric, oil & gas, electrical traction, marine and wind power.
