Vijaya Diagnostics' Rs.1,895-Cr public issue oversubscribed 4.54 times
Hyderabad-headquartered diagnostic chain Vijaya Diagnostics Centre got bids for 113.6 million against the IPO size of 25 million shares. The company had priced the IPO at INR 522 to INR 531 per share. On August 31, a day before its IPO opened, the company had raised INR 566 crore from anchor investors at INR 531 per share. The qualified institutional buyers' (QIB) portion was subscribed 13.7 times, retail quota was subscribed 1.1 times and the high-net-worth-individual (HNI) category was subscribed 1.3 times. The company had aimed to garner around INR 1,895 crore via the public issue. The issue itself was entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of the same amount with an original standing of 35,688,064 equity shares.
