CID arrests Mantri Developers' director, son after complaints from buyers

The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested Sushil Panduranga Mantri, Promoter-Director of Bangalore-based Mantri Developers Private Limited and his son Pratik Mantri in the backdrop of complaints from homebuyers over not handing over flats in different projects across the city. Several homebuyers had filed complaints with the police stating that they were cheated by the builder. The ED had earlier arrested the promoter on alleged money-laundering charges.
