LOGOS to buy 90 acres in Kolkata from Shriram Properties to develop logistics park

Logistics major LOGOS has entered into an agreement with real estate developer Shriram Properties to acquire a 90-acre land parcel in its integrated township project Shriram Grand City at Uttarpara in Kolkata. The Asia-Pacific logistics specialist firm will invest over $100 million or over INR 766 crore for development of a warehousing and logistics park spread over a total 2.2 million sq ft. Shriram Properties is currently developing this integrated township project on a 314 acres of land parcel owned by the company. It intends to develop 10 million sq ft of saleable area for residential development and sell the remaining area to strategic partners for other formats of development.
