UP RERA authorises homebuyers to complete Rohtas Plumeria Homes in Lucknow

Close to 900 homebuyers of Rohtas Plumeria Homes, a real estate project in Lucknow, can now hope for resumption of construction on the project, 13 years after the launch as the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has authorised the homebuyers association to complete the remaining work. According to UP RERA, the promoter Andes Town Planners Pvt. Ltd. didn't complete the project and its promoters are presently absconding. RERA had revoked the registration of this project on August 3, 2019 for serious breaches of RERA Act by the promoter and constituted a project advisory and monitoring committee. Subsequently, RERA had issued a public notice calling upon the Association of Allottees to submit a viable proposal for completion of the remaining work of the project.
