Finnish energy co. Fortum cancels sale of Indian EV charging network biz Glida
Finnish energy firm Fortum has cancelled its plan to sell Gurugram-based Glida , its electric-vehicle (EV) charging network business in India. Although the proposed sale had elicited interest from several major industry participants, including the JBM Group, Fortum has decided to continue operating Glida independently.Glida operates 961 charging points across India. The decision to retain the business comes as the country experiences a surge in electric mobility adoption, with sales crossing 10% market penetration in the first ten months of 2026.
