Ventive Hospitality in talks to acquire 3 luxury hotels

Pune-based Ventive Hospitality , a listed hospitality joint venture between Panchshil Realty and Blackstone, is in talks to acquire two to three large luxury hotels in India. The firm is currently evaluating properties capable of delivering an EBITDA of over INR 100-Cr.The company aims to expand its portfolio to more than 4,000 keys through a mix of acquisitions and organic development. Currently, it manages 14 assets totalling about 2,200 keys.Last year, the firm proposed acquiring a 76% stake in Soham Leisure Ventures, the owner of Hilton Goa Resort, along with a land parcel. This year, the company reached an agreement to acquire 100% of Kelzai Eco Reserves for INR 281.88 Cr in cash, to bolster its presence in the luxury eco-resort and branded villa segment. The company is also planning to launch its first Ritz-Carlton Reserve project in the Sahyadri Hills.
