NTT to divest 75% stake in Mumbai data center biz to Tokyo Century

NTT Corp is to divest a 75% stake in its Mumbai data center owning entity to fellow Japan-based financial services firm Tokyo Century. NTT Global Data Centers Holding Asia Pte Ltd (GDC HC), via an SPV, owns 100% of NTT Global Data Centers Holding BOM8 Pvt Ltd (BOM8) which is developing a 310,000 sq ft, nine-storey data center in Mumbai with 24 MW of capacity. This facility is expected to be completed in February 2022. Under the latest deal, GDC HC will divest 75% of its shares in the SPV that owns BOM8 to Tokyo Century.
